Morning Kiwinis schedules Saturday fundraiser for Wesley Crisis Center

NORFOLK - Wesley Crisis Center will be the recipient of money raised through the first of three weekend picnics planned by the Morning Kiwanis Club.  Money raised will help provide emergency shelter care for children and respite care for foster families and children with disabilities.  The Morning Kiwanis will have its concession van in the Lou's Thrifty Way parking lot on South 13th Street from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, serving grilled hamburgers or hot dogs with chips and a drink for $4.  The Kiwanis, with support from Lou's, will provide all of the food and supplies for the event, so every dollar spent will go directly to the Wesley Crisis Center.
