Missionary Benedictine Sisters to dedicate Stations of Light Sunday

NORFOLK - The Missionary Benedictine Sisters of Norfolk invite you to help them dedicate their Stations of the Light devotional Sunday afternoon.  In 2000, Pope John Paul II encouraged a re-emphasis on the centuries old devotion which recounts the 50 days beginning with the resurrection and ending with Pentecost.  The walking stations are constructed with fiberglass plates and mounted on limestone to withstand Nebraska's winters.  The devotional is located on the north side of the Immaculata Convent and Monastery at 300 N. 18th Street in Norfolk.  A dedication is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow in the monastery's cafeteria.
