Men's Chorus Christmas Concert Sunday

NORFOLK - The sounds of the Christmas season can be heard Sunday afternoon at the Johnny Carson Theatre.  The Norfolk Men’s Chorus is set to perform its annual Christmas concert beginning at 3 p.m.  Chorus member Norman Small says each year, the chorus under the direction of Dr. Dale Stephenson likes to try something new such this year’s African Noel.  A number of old favorites will be performed as well including Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Ave Maria.  Small says the Men’s Chorus began in 1989 with 13 members.  Today there are about 50 who range in age from their 20s to their 80s.  Tickets for the 3 p.m. concert at the Johnny Carson Theater cost $6 and may be purchased from any chorus member or at Companion Veterinary Clinic, The Abbey, Lou’s Thrifty Way, or First National Bank.  They may also be purchased at the door.  All proceeds to  the Good Neighbors program.
