McGill Says She'd Be Tenacious Auditor

NORFOLK - The Democratic candidate for Nebraska State Auditor says the current auditor, Mike Foley, has upped the ante for the office.  Amanda McGill says Foley has been tenacious in his auditing responsibilities, especially where Health and Human Services is involved. McGill says that, if she is elected to be the next State Auditor, she would bring that same tenacity to the job.  McGill was the guest at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Norfolk Rotary Club. She faces Republican Charlie Janssen of Fremont in November to replace Foley. Foley chose not to seek re-election and instead made an unsuccessful bid for the Republican nomination for governor.
