Man Jailed for Fourth Offense DUI

NORFOLK - A 66-year-old Norfolk man has been arrested for fourth offense drunk driving and several other offenses following an incident at about 10:30 last night. Police Captain Michael Bauer says Gailyn Wilcox was arrested after officers investigated the report of a possible drunk driver in the area of 13th Street and Benjamin Avenue. Wilcox was stopped in the 600 block of Gerecke and arrested for fourth offense drunk driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of point-one-five, driving under suspension, fictitious license plates and open container of alcohol. He was taken to the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
