Man Faces Drug Charges after Traffic Stop

NORFOLK - A man originally stopped for driving under suspension also faces drug charges following a stop early Tuesday morning in Norfolk. Police Chief Bill Mizner says 34-year-old Jason Jensen of Norfolk was stopped in the 600 block of South 13th Street at 1:46 a.m. Tuesday after an officer observed his vehicle strike a street curb. Jensen was placed under arrest for driving under suspension, and further investigation turned up a glass pipe with a white residue that tested positive for methamphetamine. Jensen was arrested for driving under suspension, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
