Man Arrested for DUS, on 2 Outstanding Warrants
NORFOLK - A report of a reckless driver in Norfolk led to the arrest of an Arlington man on charges of driving under suspension and two outstanding warrants. Police Captain Michael Bauer reports that the Nebraska State Patrol notified Norfolk Police of a reckless driver entering Norfolk on Highway 275 from east of town Friday. Officers responded and observed the vehicle weaving in and out of the westbound lanes. The car was stopped in the 800 block of South Boxelder Street, and 26-year-old Mario Navarette Junior was arrested for driving under suspension and for outstanding warrants from Madison and Cuming counties. Navarette was hosed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
