Madison Man Pleads No Contest to 2012 Norfolk Shooting

MADISON - A 29-year-old Madison man has entered a no-contest plea to charges related to a 2012 assault in downtown Norfolk. Madison County Attorney Joe Smith reports that Jordan Beehn faces up to 55 years in prison after entering the plea to charges of first-degree assault and tampering with a witness. Beehn was arrested on November 24th, 2012 for shooting Jorge Alberto Zepeda-Flores of Norfolk outside Club Hollywood, located at 117 South 3rd Street in Norfolk. Zepeda-Flores was shot in the face, and the bullet caused spinal damage that left the 29-year-old man paralyzed. Beehn originally faced five charges, and three were dropped in exchange for the no-contest plea.  Sentencing for Beehn has been set for February 28th.
