Madison Man Faces Charges of Being Felon with Firearms

MADISON - A 70-year-old Madison man has been arrested after a search warrant was served at his home. The Norfolk Daily News reports that Carlisle Briscoe was arrested Friday on suspicion of being a felon in possession of firearms. He could also face charges of being an habitual criminal, which carries a sentencing enhancement of 10 years. Investigator Mike Bowersox of the Madison County Sheriff's office reports that several weapons, a large amount of ammunition and a bulletproof vest were seized, as well as Nazi propaganda and memorabilia.
