Livestock Classic Underway at Northeast Community College
NORFOLK - While you were watching football and eating turkey leftovers, staff and students of the Northeast Community College ag department were getting set up for the 29th annual NECC Livestock Classic. Livestock Judging Team Advisor Mike Roeber says entries were accepted last night for the show, which runs today and tomorrow. Roeber says 320 cattle were pre-entered as of Wednesday, with entries from four states. And he says there could be even more by show time. The breeding animal show begins at 10:30 Friday morning in the Chuck M. Pohlman Ag Complex, with the market animal show starting at 10 Saturday morning. There is no charge to attend.
