Lieutenant Governor Heidemann visits Norfolk

NORFOLK - Nebraska Lieutenant Governor Lavon Heidemann visited Norfolk Monday as the guest of former Senator and Speaker Mike Flood.  Heidemann, who hails from Elk Creek in southeast Nebraska served as a state senator for eight years and as chairman of the Appropriations Committee, before being forced out by term limits.  He was elected to the University of Nebraska Board of Regents in November, but resigned when Governor Dave Heineman offered him the Lieutenant Governor job following the resignation of former Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy.  Heidemann visited Nucor and other businesses in town.
