Kiewit Foundation gives $350,000 for NECC O'Neill extended campus

O'NEILL - A campaign to construct a new Northeast Community College extended campus in O’Neill has received a $350,000 grant from the Peter Kiewit Foundation.  College Associate Vice President for Development and External Affairs Tracy Kruse says the drive needs about $700,000 to hit the $2.8 million goal.  Kruse says officials hope to wrap up fundraising by the end of the year, with construction to begin in the early spring. She says it will take 12-to-18 months to build the facility.  To learn more about the Northeast Community College’s O’Neill Extended Campus Campaign, visit the web site northeast.edu or call Kruse at (402) 844-7056.
