"Journey Stories" Exhibit in Madison
MADISON- A special traveling Smithsonian exhibit called "Journey Stories" is currently on display in the Madison County Museum in Madison. Director Carol Robertson says the museum has enhanced the Journey with it's own exhibits. Special activities are planned this Sunday in conjunction with "Christmas in Madison". Robertson says the museum will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. with a special presentation on "Custer in Nebraska: The Royal Buffalo Hunt of 1872" beginning at 1:30 p.m. Both the Journey Stories and the presentation on Custer are made possible with the assistance from the Nebraska Humanities Council. Robertson says the museum is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1 until 4 p.m., and there is no admission charge. To arrange special tours, call Robertson at 402-992-1221
