John McCain in Nebraska to Endorse Fischer
NORFOLK - U.S. Senator John McCain from Arizona is in Nebraska today to support Republican U.S. Senate candidate Deb Fischer. McCain says he is backing Fischer because she can help lead the Republican Party into the future. Senator McCain is a long-time friend of former Republican Nebraska U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel, who has endorsed Democrat Bob Kerrey in the race. McCain and Kerrey are also close personal and political friends, and McCain says that will not change.
