It's Walk To School Day
LINCOLN - Today is the annual Spring Walk to School Day, an effort by Safe Routes Nebraska to encourage kids to get moving. Program Coordinator Angela Barry says 25 communities in Nebraska are hosting events ranging from walkathons to safety presentations.
