Hoskins Man's Body Found in Iowa

MONDAMIN, IOWA - Authorities say a body found in western Iowa is a Hoskins man.  The body was discovered by a hunter in a wooded area of Harrison County, four miles southwest of Mondamin, on Saturday evening.  Investigators could not immediately identify the man, who was missing his teeth.  Fingerprints submitted to an FBI database have confirmed the body is that of 52-year-old Michael E. Gnirk .  Investigators are not saying how he may have died and are asking for the public's help in retracing that last few days and weeks of Gnirk's life.  Anyone with information on the case is urging to call the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation at (712) 322-1585.
