Guvernatorial candidate, McCoy makes Norfolk stop

NORFOLK - One of the five men seeking the Republican nomination for governor of Nebraska was in Norfolk last week, meeting with voters and local officials.  Beau McCoy of Omaha says taxes have been an issue for all five years he has served in the Nebraska legislature, and he thinks it will be a big topic in the gubernatorial campaign. He says it is also important to control state spending and provide skilled jobs that keep and attract young people.  McCoy says his experience as the owner of a small business sets him apart from the other GOP candidates – Charlie Janssen of Fremont, Pete Ricketts of Omaha, Tom Carlson of Holdrege and Mike Foley of Lincoln.
