Governor Visits Wayne Dairy Farm
WAYNE - Governor Dave Heineman spent the day yesterday visiting farms all over Nebraska including the Temme Dairy Farm northwest of Wayne. It was part of the governor's celebration of National Ag Day. Heineman told the crowd that agriculture is strong in Nebraska and the future is even stronger. He boasted that agriculture is the state's number on industry and is a major factor behind Nebraska's 3.8 percent unemployment rate: the nation's second lowest. Governor Heineman says he'll go anywhere in the world to promote Nebraska agriculture and other Nebraska business products.
