Governor: Exports Key to Growth

LINCOLN - Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman says that for Nebraska agriculture to continue to be strong, it must continue to increase exports.  Heineman says the state has pressed hard to spread the message about the value of Nebraska agricultural goods.  Heineman says Nebraska farmers and ranchers compete in a global, free-market society and that's the reason he's made 12 overseas trips on behalf of Nebraska agriculture, from Cuba to Japan during his administration.  The governor has also hosted two reverse-trade missions.
