Fortenberry Not Encouraged by Recent Farm Bill Negotiations

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Nebraska 1st District Congressman Jeff Fortenberry says Congress needs to pass a five-year Farm Bill, but recent talks aren't encouraging.     Fortenberry, a former member of the House Ag Committee and now on the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, says negotiations between the House and Senate have bogged down.  He says an agreement on the Farm Bill could pave the way for an agreement on the federal budget.
