Flood Warning For Elkhorn River Canceled
WEST POINT - A flood warning on the Elkhorn River at West Point has been canceled. The National Weather Service reports the river stage at West Point dropped to 11.5 five feet as of 8:10 this morning -- a half foot below flood stage. The river fell below 12 feet at 4:15 this morning. It's expected to fall to 10.1 feet by Saturday morning. An ice jam near the Highway 32 bridge has been causing the flooding for most of the week.
