Fire Severely Damages Woodland Park Home
STANTON- A Woodland Park home was severely damaged by fire Sunday afternoon, and two residents were taken to Faith Regional Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says the fire was reported just after noon Sunday at 311 Kimberly Way. Residents Leonard and Phyllis Lurz were taken to Faith Regional by Hoskins Woodland Park Rescue. The Norfolk Fire Division helped battle the fire for more than an hour. Stanton County Emergency Management and the American Red Cross also provided assistance at the scene.
