Eight Philanthropy Contest Winners Receive $1,000 Each
NORFOLK - The spirit of giving for which Norfolk and Northeast Nebraska are known was alive and well Saturday during the second annual Youth Philanthropy Contest. Twenty projects were entered in the contest and eight were selected to receive $1,000 awards from the Connie Fund to help in their efforts. All 20 projects will be on display Saturday night during the social hour of the Celebrate Giving event at the Divots Conference Center.
