Early Voting Begins in Madison County
MADISON - Ballots for the November 6th General Election have arrived in Madison County, and those wishing to vote early may do so at any time. County Clerk Nancy Scheer says properly registered voters may vote in person at her office during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Those who wish to have a ballot mailed to them may download a form on the county's website, co.Madison.ne.us, and either mail it to the County Clerk's office or have it brought to the clerk's office by another person, referred to as an "agent." Scheer says those without internet access may pick up an early ballot request from their city or village clerk, or call her office for further directions. All early ballots must be returned to the clerk's office before the polls close on election day.
