Discussions Continue About Hiring a New Superintendent
Discussions continue on the process that will be used to hire a new superintendent for the Norfolk Public Schools. Dr. Marlene Uhing announced in October that she would be retiring at the end of her contract in the summer of 2013. School Board President Clark Froehlich says the process to select the next superintendent will be similar to the one used when Uhing was hired six years ago. Froehlich says once a search firm has been selected, school staff and the community will be included in the process.
