Crops Have Been Using Lots Of Water

CONCORD - University of Nebraska Extension Irrigation Specialist Bill Krantz says irrigators have provided nearly 100 percent of the water used by this year's crop. At the Haskell Ag Lab near Concord, Krantz says the crop has used about 20 inches of water, and only two or three inches of that came from rainfall early in the season.
