Columbs Woman Injured
STANTON - A 52-year-old Columbus woman was critically injured in a farm accident Saturday in Stanton County. Sheriff Mike Unger says Mary Buggi was working inside a building on a farm place nine miles northwest of Leigh when she fell more than 10 feet from scaffolding, striking her head on the concrete floor. Unger says Buggi suffered a serious head injury and was flown from the scene by medical helicopter to Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, where she remains in the ICU in critical condition.
