Chili Feed Saturday for Isaac Pfeifer
NORFOLK - A chili feed will be held tomorrow in Norfolk for the family of Isaac Pfeifer, a Norfolk Catholic athlete who suffered a spinal injury in a state playoff football game. Chili and cinnamon rolls will be served beginning at 4 p.m. for a free will offering in the Sacred Heart Parish Center during the Norfolk Catholic-Battle Creek basketball games in the NC Activities Center. Those attending the chili feed do NOT need to attend the basketball games. Isaac's father, Neil Pfeifer, says the family continues to appreciate all of the offers of support from the community. He says prayers for Isaac's recovery are the most important need right now. Neil Pfeifer says Isaac will remain at Madonna Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln until at least February 5th. The Madonna staff are helping him stay up-to-date with school assignments, and will work with Norfolk Catholic School to make sure he will be able to attend classes and take part in other activities with his classmates when he returns home.
