Children's theater production of "X is for Zebra" set for Saturday

NORFOLK - Twenty-six northeast Nebraska kids are working hard this week at Northeast Community College’s Cox Theater preparing for this weekend’s performance of “X is for Zebra.”  The Norfolk Arts Center is hosting the Dakota Players Children’s Theater.  Each of the kids who auditioned Monday has a part in the play.  “X is for Zebra” is about a zebra named Xena who doesn’t have any stripes and spells her name with an X.  It’s designed to teach kids the message, “It’s okay to be who you are.”  There are two performances Saturday at the Cox Theater: one at 3, the other at 6.  Tickets will be available at the door: $7 for adults and $3 for kids.
