Changes Proposed To GI Bill

FREMONT - First District Congressman Jeff Fortenberry is proposing that U.S. soldiers be able to use their G.I. Bill benefits to start new businesses. Fortenberry tells WJAG NEWS only 30 percent of soldiers take advantage of the G.I. Bill for college. He believes his plan could create 80,000 soldier-owned small businesses and 300,000 sustainable jobs.
