Car-Semi Accident Snarls Traffic
NORFOLK - Traffic was snarled at a major Norfolk intersection early this morning because of a semi-vehicle accident. Police Captain Mike Bauer reports that Norfolk Police, Norfolk Fire & Rescue, and the Norfolk Street Division all responded to an accident at 13th & Norfolk at 6:16am this morning. Bauer says a north bound semi, driven by Joy Lynn Dietrich, 44, of Lincoln, collided with a west bound car driven by Robert Schroeder, 50, of Norfolk. Schroeder was injured in the accident and transported to Faith Regional Hospital. Bauer says the accident remains under investigation.
