Capitol's 3 falcon chicks banded in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Three peregrine falcon chicks that hatched in a nest atop the Capitol have been banded.  On Monday volunteers from Raptor Recovery also drew blood and treated the two males and one female for mites. Another chick that had hatched died last week.  The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will provide names, thanks to its annual Name the Chicks Contest.  The two birds born last year were named Lewis and Clark.
