Bail Denied to Omaha Man Charged with Four Murders

OMAHA (AP) - A judge has denied bond to a man accused of carrying out a three-week killing rampage in and around Omaha last month. Douglas County Judge Joseph Caniglia on Thursday ordered 26-year-old Nikko Jenkins held without bond on four counts of first-degree murder. Jenkins was already in jail on other charges when he was arrested Wednesday for the killings. Those include the Aug. 21 death of 33-year-old Andrea Kruger. Authorities say the mother of three was heading home from work when she was shot to death in an intersection. Her vehicle was later found in north Omaha. Also killed were 22-year-old Curtis Bradford, whose body was found outside a garage on Aug. 19, and 29-year-old Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz and 26-year-old Juan Uribe-Pena, whose bodies were found in a truck on Aug. 11.
