Arrest Made in Norfolk Shooting

NORFOLK - Norfolk Police have released the name of the man injured in a Saturday morning shooting in Norfolk. Police Captain Michael Bauer says Jorge Alberta Zepeda-Flores, 28, of Norfolk was shot in the face just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning outside of Club Hollywood at 117 South 3rd Street in Norfolk. Bauer says Zepeda-Flores was attempting to break up a fight between two females when he was struck by a gun and then shot in the face. Jordan Beehn, 28, of Madison has been arrested for first degree assault, second degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony in connection with the shooting. He also faces charges of driving while intoxicated and felony operation of a motor vehicle to avoid arrest in Stanton County. Beehn was arrested just west of Stanton by Stanton County Sheriff's officers. Bauer says Zepeda-Flores was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City after the shooting and remains hospitalized.
