Area Teen Dies In Crash
COLUMBUS (AP) - Grief counselors were sent to help Columbus High School students mourning the death of an 18-year-old boy who died in a traffic accident. Police say Joseph Buresh died after his car rammed a tree just before 10 p.m. Wednesday. Officers say Buresh was driving fast and ran a stop sign before losing control of his car. Platte County Attorney Carl Hart says a blood test will be conducted to see whether alcohol played a role in the crash. Buresh was a senior at the high school.
