Area Teachers To Be Honored
LaVISTA - Teachers from Norfolk Catholic and Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point will be honored tonight at the 35th annual Archbishop's Dinner for Education in LaVista. Marsha Stewart, biology and advanced placement instructor at Norfolk Catholic, will be honored as one of two secondary teachers of the year. Stewart has taught for 39 years, 24 of them at Norfolk Catholic. Receiving one of two elementary educator of the year awards will be Jane Knobbe, second grade instructor at Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point. Knobbe has been in education for 26 years, and has taught second grade at Guardian Angels for 22 years.
