Antelope County supervisor could face charges

NELIGH - An Antelope County supervisor is accused of switching speed limit signs in an area where one of his relatives was stopped for speeding.  Antelope County Attorney Joe Abler reported Friday that he and the Antelope County Sheriff have requested that the State Patrol look into the allegations against Merlin Bolling of Clearwater.  Abler says a complaint was made that Bolling changed speed limit Signs shortly after one of his relatives was cited for speeding in the area.  This is not the first time that Bolling has been accused of wrong-doing since he was elected to the supervisor's post.  In May of 2012, he was fined and placed on probation for driving under the influence of alcohol - first offense.  He was also fined for disturbing the peace in connection with the same incident.
