Accused Shoplifter Tries to Sell Stolen Items Online

NORFOLK  (AP) - Police say a Norfolk man accused of shoplifting tried to sell the stolen items online.  Norfolk police say 19-year-old Marcus J. Davis used social media to advertise two pairs of headphones. The post was a few days after an Aug. 27 theft at a local Target store that involved two pairs of headphones.The cost of the headphones was valued at more than $530. Police say Davis was identified as a suspect from store security cameras. Police then discovered the online post. Davis was arrested Wednesday and he has been charged with felony shoplifting. He remains at the Madison County Jail.
