2nd Consultant To Look At Setback Issue
MADISON - Madison County Commissioners have given the go-ahead for a second consultant to look at proposed setback regulations regarding the placement of bulk and/or the manufacturer of fertilizer. Although the proposal would impact the entire county if approved, a group of residents in the Warnerville area expressed strong opposition to the change after a commercial operation announced it would like to locate near there. Planning and Zoning Administrator John Johnson says the County's Joint Planning Commission requested the second consultant.
