15 People Arrested in Fremont Drug Investigation
FREMONT - More than a dozen people have been arrested after a two-year investigation of a Fremont prescription drug ring. Authorities said Tuesday in Fremont that 15 people were in custody. Most were accused of duping doctors, pharmacists and other medical care providers in order to acquire a narcotic painkiller, oxycodone. One of the suspects is accused of conspiracy to sell morphine. The investigation involved Fremont and Blair police officers, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the Nebraska State Patrol and several federal agencies, including the FBI.
