9:00 am - The Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA Chapter Annual Ribbon Tree(s) will be at The Pinnacle Bank or The Heritage Bank in Neligh On the ribbon will be a list of Christmas gifts to give to those in need. Please attach ribbon to the package and return to Ribbon Tree by December 12th.This ongoing project sponsored by the Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA in conjunction with HHS provides families as well as residents of the Golden Living Center with an opportunity for a better Christmas.

9:00am - 4:00pm - The Stanton Music Boosters will have a holiday vendor fair from 9 to 4 at the Stanton High School. Admission is $3.00. Proceeds will go toward new uniforms for the Stanton marching band

10:30 am - The Norfolk Public Library offers Lapsit" a beginning literary experience for children, age birth through 2 years old with their adult caregiver on Saturdays at 10:30 am. Lapsit is a perfect way to begin library visits, learn rhymes, songs and games in English and Spanish, and meet other children the same age. Call for details.

11:00am - 3:00pm - The Lied Pierce Public Library will hold two events on Saturday Dec 7th from 11 am to 3 pm. A Christmas Giving Tea will be held, the public is invited to stop in to donate an item such as child's clothing or toy. Tea snacks and crafts will be offered through the day. Items will stay in the community. Also a Zing Party will be going on, ..have your apparel customized with rhinestones by Nancy Baker...great gift idea. Call the library for details.

1:00 - 5:00pm - The Winside Q125 Committee will host a Holiday of Homes and Wine Tasting on Saturday December 7th from 1 to 5 pm, beginning at the Legion Hall. Tickets are $10, for the tour of home and $10 for the Wine Tasting for those 21 and older.

7:30 pm - Norfolk Community theater presents Bus Stop. This uproarious comedy is staged in the middle of a howling snowstorm, when a bus pulls up to a cheerful roadside diner where the weary travelers are going to have to spend the night. Performances are Dec 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 at 7:30 pm and and matinee Dec. 8 at 2 pm at NECC's Cox Activity Theater. To reserve tickets call 402-844-7360.
