9:00 am - Stanton MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext (Mothers of kids 1st grade and up) - will be meeting on Tuesday, from 9am to 11:15am and will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. The groups will meet at the Evangelical Free church located at 500 8th Street in Stanton. Each meeting will feature a speaker or DVD presentation, crafts, door prizes, and small group discussion. 5:30 pm - The Norfolk Area Relay For Life will kick off the 2012 season on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Anyone interested in forming a team to fight back against cancer is welcome to attend. A meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. The Relay Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. Those in Madison, Antelope, Stanton and Pierce are encouraged to form a team and support the fight. 7:00 - 8:00pm - The Norfolk Area Alzheimer's Support Group will meet Tuesday at 7 pm at the Norfolk Veterans Home. The group meets the 2nd Tuesday each month and all those interested, or are care givers for Alzheimer's patients are welcome to attend. For more information call 370-3160. (Group does not meet in December)

7:30 pm - Standup Parenting Group will meet each Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Norfolk. The group offers self help information for parents troubled by unacceptable behavior of their pre-teen, teen or adult children.
