8:30am - 12:30pm - The Norfolk VFW has a regular Pancake Breakfast each Sunday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, includes Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits & gravy with orange juice and coffee; adults $5.50, children 6- 12 $3.00, 5 and under free. Everyone is welcome.

9:00 am - The CCPJ Breakfast in Elgin will be held Sunday Jan 8th from 9 am til 12:30 pm at the St Boniface Gym, serving Pancakes, French Toast, Sausage, Ham, Hash browns, fruit & rolls. Free will offering. Everyone is welcome.

5:00 pm - Soup is good for the soul and for fighting cancer. Two Neligh-Oakdale FBLA students have planned a soup supper at Neligh-Oakdale Public School on Sunday, Jan. 8, from 5-7 p.m. in the school cafeteria and gym to benefit the Norfolk Area Relay For Life.
