9:00am - 12:00pm - The Annual Landon Bos Bicycle Rodeo will be held Saturday from 9 am to noon at the Norfolk Pedal Park located at the Norfolk YMCA for children ages 12 and under. Bring your bikes and helmets for inspections, obstacle course fun and helmet fitting, plus Child car seat safety checks and Child DNA kits. The Lifenet Helicopter will be on sight, with Fire, Ambulance and State Patrol. Also see Race Team Cars and Legion Riders Motorcycles!

Prairie Blacksmith of Nebraska would like to invite you to attend their blacksmith event, open for the public, on May 18th & 19th in Plainview. It will be held at 53202 866th Rd (residence of Ed Auger of Plainview, on the corner of 532 & 866 roads). It will start at 10:00 AM and end approximately at 4:00 PM on both days. 12:00 - 5:00pm - The Local Music Concert Series this summer at Central Park will begin this Saturday May 18th. Music starts at 12 noon and goes until about 5 pm. The lineup includes: Glenn Woody Henkel - solo acoustic, the Begats, Reminiscin' - featuring Bob and Judi Letheby, and headlining will be the Tucker Hill Citizens Brigade - electric. All the bands and musicians are local to Norfolk or the surrounding area. The event is family friendly, and free for all. The event is slated for the third Saturday of each month, May through Sept.
