It's all starting to come together.
I'm already accustomed to getting up at 5 a.m., and out the door by 6-ish. I have my a.m. routine down pat: roll outta bed, slide on my Tar Heels blue fuzzy slippers, walk to the kitchen, pour a cup of coffee and make a piece of peanut butter toast...and when I say peanut butter toast, I sometimes mean oatmeal. I love oatmeal.
The commute from Wayne to Norfolk isn't as bad as anticipated; I turn my music up super loud to shake off whatever sleepiness decides to hang around...usually it is The Spill Canvas and Mayday Parade, or The Killers. Good driving music. Recently, though, I've been playing Kate Nash's debut album...it's huuuuge in the U.K. and was just released here...very dry, sarcastic sense of humor and great storytelling lyrics. Check 'er out. (Recommended tracks: all are good, but "Nicest Thing", "Birds", "Fountains", and "Mouthwash" are my favorites.)
That's all for today. Good day. I said good day.
